German Theater Berlin

The German theater in Berlin is one of the most important speech Theater in the German-speaking countries. On the Schedule are mainly classics and modern classics by authors such as Shakespeare, Schiller, Chekhov, Sartre, Ibsen and Goethe. Other plaies are works by contemporary authors such as Lukas Bärfuss, Dea Loher, Wolfram Lotz, Roland Schimmelpfennig, Ferdinand Schmalz and Nis-Momme Stockmann that are shown and premiered at the theater. Once a year the Author Theater Festival takes place in a 14-day festival of contemporary drama.
