These courses are open to all people who do not yet have little or no knowledge of the Latin alphabet.

The basic courses usually last about a year and take place during the week (Monday to Friday). Following this, there are so-called set-up courses, which last about four months. These courses help you learn the German language and find your way around everyday life. Often, you will notice first achievements after a short amount of time. Do not be discouraged, even if it is not easy at the beginning. Often these courses do not have a fee. Check back with the Job center.
