The State Office of Health and Welfare (LAGeSo) is for example responsible for the acquisition, the construction, operation, the availability and the closure of reception facilities and accommodation centers for refugees, for Asylum seekers and foreigners. The tasks are operated by the Berlin accommodation control center (BUL).
