Memorial Berlin Wall

The Berlin Wall Memorial is the central memorial site of German division, located in the center of the capital. At the historical location in Bernauer Strasse it extends to 1.4 kilometers of the former border strip. On the grounds of the memorial is the final piece of the Berlin Wall, which has been preserved in its signal depth and gives an impression of how the border worked during the late 1980s. With the other remains and traces of border obstacles and the events that took place the museum gives a good impression about the history of the German separation.
