Diakonie

The Diakonie is the social service of the protestant churches. It sees its mission as lived charity and cares for people who are at the margins of society, dependent to help or disadvantaged. In addition to the operating aid the diakonie is understood as an advocate for the weak and calls out the causes of social distress against politics and society.
